Raised in Liberia West Africa where her parents served as missionaries, Rebecca developed a heart for children at a young age. She involved herself in children’s Bible studies and helped run the Good News Clubs whenever she could. In 1988, she married Len, and they have five children.

Rebecca graduated from UWS with a major in English and a minor in Psychology after transferring from Evangel College. She has served at our church for many years in various capacities, with her passion being for Children’s Ministry.

Rebecca's passion for children is driven by an urgency to help kids connect with Jesus at an early age, and to help keep them grounded during their teens and twenties as they grow up in a society that is ever attacking our morals and Christian faith.

Josh McDowell says, “Rules without relationship lead to rebellion." I am convinced that this is true in every realm especially in their relationship with Christ. If children fall in love with Jesus it will change them forever!
